Which settings does the media director need to work with a mce remote?

On Wizard, Devices, M/D, for the infrared receiver choose 'default', and for the remote chose 'Windows XP MC'.  Please post a reply indicating if it's working for you.  I know our testers were using a xp mc system and could not get the remote to work properly (key recognition was unreliable).  They concluded it is a bug in LIRC.
