moving files in bulk
« on: August 30, 2017, 09:39:45 pm »
Guys, just a question. lets say I have a number of movies in several different folders and now want to integrate them all in one. If I go by webadmin, I need to move each file individually...which takes time. I could also move them outside webadmin as files and then resynch the folders. Is there a way to move files in bulk with webadmin?

Not that I know of. I would probably go with moving them outside webadmin and resync.

As sambuca says, there is no bulk move function in webadmin.  UpdateMedia is smart enough to identify the files in their new locations as the same files from the old location and should re-link all the metadata properly.
