using your own pictures/photos as "screen saver"
« on: April 10, 2007, 09:34:46 pm »
For now the box go and get the pictures on flikr. This is quite nice but getting the same picture with your own picture would be really good.

Is this planned?

The pictures are downloaded from flikr home page every 5 hours and put in /home/flikr/2007/...
You can delete the flickr.pl from /usr/pluto/bin/ and put your own photos in /home/flikr/2007/..., this way your files will not be overwritten.

I am sure there are ways to hack this arround.

But I believe it would be nice to get this as some kind of configuration option somewhere (this is the  Feature requests & roadmap forum).
