I did the update, but it seems that since then my phones won't register anymore

Check what has been updated during your last apt-get upgrade. /var/log/apt should have a hint or two. Oh, and please let us know what version of LinuxMCE you are using.

ok..my fault- turns out it was a false alarm. I obviously didn't check properly. Asterisk hasn't started after the update. I rebooted the core and everything is fine now.
Seems I forgot Rule #1 again ;-)
