Silence or Change Ringtone on MDs?

Is there a way to silence or change the ringtone on the MDs when an incoming call is detected?  For me, its enough that media is paused and that the phone screens appear. My hard phones make enough noise.

maybe there is a better way, because this change is for all mds?

wanting to change the ringtone to a more smooth one, i changed the template

/usr/pluto/templates/simplephone.conf

I am now using this ringtone:
local_ring=/usr/share/sounds/linphone/rings/sweet.wav

there are several others in the same directory. hard to choose.

I think even if the most people here know this already, it could have saved me a bit of time, so i posted a reply....

Thanks for the reply. A good idea in addition to your post would be a small addendum to any of the telecom related articles on the wiki.

okay, just wrote my first wiki article ever, yeahhhhei.
a shame, i know, but it is really not as complicated as i thought.
if anybody can improve it or finds mistakes, be my guest.
