When I installed Linuxmce I clicked on a hard drive and made it private,  I dont want to be private. The question is can i delete it in the admin site and will I have another chance to configure it? It is loaded with my media and I dont want to loose it.

change it in web admin from priuvate to public or to "use lmce structure"
If I helped you, feel free to buy me a coffee: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2VKASZLTJH7ES

I did that, but when i change to look at the list by file name it dont show me anything
if i look at by any other attrib it works fine
I have different types of music in diferent folders and without filename its all mixed up right now

When you say it doesn't show you anything, do you mean there is literally nothing at all? What you should see when you choose to filter by filename is the hard disks names. The attached shows my two hard disks.

Don't forget the obligatory/regens/reboots/patience.

If all else fails, in the past I have just removed the hard drive in My Devices in web admin, reboot, and start again (hard drive should be re-detected).

FYI I have only over used "Use LMCE structure", so don't know if this applies to selecting "make all content public".

Cheers,
Matt.
