Hi Guys, I'm pretty new to linux, I'm trying to edit the sources.list file but it doesn't allow me to save the changes.

could someone point me in the right direction to edit it please :(

Make sure you did "sudo su", enter your password, try to edit it again.

bongo's tip is not bad. Even better would be
sudo editor /etc/apt/sources.list

will the files that cannot be found during installation be included in an upcoming snapshot?   For some reason I was getting hung on Alsa package linuxmce beta2 repository.  That confused me since it is still available.
