hello, I'm new to linuxMCE, and I'm in the planning stage of building a core. I have all the parts and components priced and researched. A few months ago bought a network hd media player hdd enclosure. the model name is cvpn-hd04. any searches on the model name will give you results for shopping and purchasing the player, but I do know that it has the Realtek 1073 chipset. my question is can this device be used as a MD. if so how could it be done. this device displays in 1080p, has hdmi, component, and composite output. optical and coaxial sound output. 2 usb ports, and 1 usb(pc) port, and a Ethernet rj45 to boot.it also comes with a remote. it can accept up to a 2tb sata hard drive. plus shipping this device cost about $100.00 us. I included some pics of the player and the board. here are the specs i could find on this board.(400mhz, 128MByte DDR2 RAM, 256MByte NAND flash ROM)

I don't know if anyone has one of these or something like it, but if it can be done I will gladly test it on my device.
