Been lurking for the past 3 years learning Linux and decided to take the plunge into MCE after having a successfull MythTV setup for a couple of years.  System is up and running and now I'm working through getting all the devices set up.  Lots of late nights but its a fun.  I hope to contribute something back....my only programming is LISP from the old AutoCAD days...but I'm a quick learner.  

Thanks for all the great posts and information here, its amazing what time and passion can produce over 14 years!
