web orbiter not working on latest snapshot
« on: June 08, 2010, 02:25:21 pm »
I want to use my iPhone as Orbiter so followed instructions to create Web Orbiter:
http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Web_Orbiter

After creation I did a quick reload, even a full reset for few times but I can't get Web Orbiter to work.

I login via username and password, at second screen choose my "iPhone" named web orbiter from drop down menu, but after that nothing happens.
I tried from my latop and iPhone via wifi connection, and then from the Core itself. Still same issue.

Default timeouts are as these"Seconds before screen saver = 600" and "Seconds before power off = 600"

I tried enabling and disabling wireless connection option but still nothing.

Any suggestions? How can I troubleshoot this issue further? Should I report a bug?

It does work. I'm using it at the moment.

Did you wait for it to regen when created as takes few mins? Try doing a full regen and then reload. If that does not work then try executing sudo killall -9 Proxy_Orbiter just in case it has deadlocked(not likely since you have not used it yet).
