The snapshot DVD (or any DVD install for that matter), is a matter of plugging the DVD in, boot it, select LinuxMCE install, let the kubuntu install go through, reboot, select LinuxMCE install from the desktop, done

I can confirm posde instructions. After downloading and burning the DVD snapshot iso, I installed Kubuntu, rebooted, and ran the LMCE install on the desktop. Nothing more was done aside from normal LMCE configurations steps (i.e. avwizard). Everything is working now.
