Hey, i bought a few 3101 remotes and was trying it on my windooze computer, it works great on that. Than i plugged it into my lmce core and all buttons seem to work but movement of the gyration part is very unpleasant. It will move the cursor, but only at certain moments, than it will move quick, than slow, it's just not right.

Has anybody else seen this, and what can i do to improve this?

Thanks,

Richard

Is this still a known issue?  I'm considering buying a GYR3101US?

I have been using one since nov or so of 09 without any problems, and know others do as well. in fact this is the first i have heard of this problem, so i am inclined to think it is something with that specific hardware setup.

I've had similar jerky movements. My core is behind a brick wall with the gyration receiver plugged in the back. My solution was to simply plug the receiver into the front of the core. There was a huge improvement.

Hope this helps.

I get this issue, but only when the batteries are lowish.. replaced them a few days ago - no problems since...

I have a 3201 and so far it hasn't had any problems.

I have fixed this problem with a extension cord for the USB, so i connected a usb cord in between the md and the dongle and now it works great.

The dongle probably just doesn't sit right on my ION boards with the M350 case and the cable gets around this.

Thanks,

Richard
