Video playback fails on md in 810 (acer revo)
« on: March 22, 2010, 12:43:42 am »
I have got TV working fine but as soon as I select a video (including recorded TV) my md crashes.

I have run a ssh session and it seems that xorg is using 100% of the CPU at these times. Anyone got a fix for this?

Hi b4rney,
Try to enable vdpau hardware acceleration.

Paulo, I will try that ASAP.

My quick fix was to re-run the av wizard and select the non alpha blended gui (the middle one). That fixed it, but I'll try vdpau and report back.
