Beta 2 net boot MediaDirector issue can't reach AVwizard

I have followed the instructions for setting up diskless MD's, using MD that was previously worked perfect with 0710...   

its video card
PCIE Geforce 8400GS 256ram    will this work? did before i change to 0810b2

after switching 64 to i386 and rebuilding finally got the MD to boot ... then ofcourse the "failed to start X" error... so after installing/uninstalling nividia drivers many many times...  and following info i found on forums... was able to get nvidia 195 beta drivers installed and to not go failed X

It now goes black screen and when ever i try mode change or resolution change 1-0 on keyboard any time i hit one it goes back to console showing Nivdia 195 installation ended and the date... then 2 sec later goes black again.... press a key 1 beep  few sec later ring with 3 beeps...  never get to avwizard...  have i missed something?

also noticed from my notes... that when I installed hybridcore  the only thing i forgot to do was apt-get -f -x distr upgrade  before i used the installer....  ive done apt-get upgrade update...   but also read that i should never "apt-get -f -x distr upgrade" after useing linuxmce installer... so i haven't...ever...  would this give the problem with my MD?  will doing a "apt-get -f -x distr upgrade"  help this? does installer need to be run again?

from what i can tell i hear the series of beeps so Av wizard is starting just not showing me with any changes...  how does the trick with dvi-vga connector work?... ive tried using  the vga output on my vid card and the dvi with same result...

or should i just start fresh?



have a ton on nvidias whats a better model to use?   6200?

Update... Reached AV wizard  with dvi to vga adapter thing...  YEA....  got dvi2/hdmi to work  but only at 720p....  this card was running 1080 fine before...  so if can't get 1080 working with  av wizard is there a way for me to setup this manually?

This has been solved .... apt-get install envy  ...  this didn't help me installing nividia drivers but more un installing  them cleanly ... and allowed MD to install them correctly ....  received errors   trying to update...

Also removed legacy drivers from loading...
