How is vloopback used in Pluto ?

Hi,

I accidentaly saw that vloopback package in pluto's distro.

Is this the package that is used for replication of video devices in kernel ?

How is it used in Pluto ?

Some time ago I had setup nice feature with security cameras, that were replicated so one could see them also in Mythtv's PIP (picture in picture) feature. Where should I setup replication of security devices ?
