Can't define that an MD has a bluetooth dongle
« on: August 20, 2009, 12:28:36 am »
Well, I managed to get a Belkin F8T001 bluetooth dongle installed. No mean feat since kubuntu 8.1 has the wrong names for the firmware files, but then, so has ubuntu 9.04. Not the same mind you, but still wrong.

So next I thought I'd define that my hybrid core has got a bluetooth dongle so I could control it with my N73.

The wiki entry for "Control LinuxMCE using a Symbian Series 60 mobile phone with Bl"says goto wizards>devices>media directors and "and make sure 'Bluetooth Dongle' is checked for each media director (that) has one". If only ...

I couldn't find the option anywhere. Is it me being stupid, blind, or ....

Regards

When you are on the Web Administation
in section wizards>devices>media directors
there you find a Button "EDit" beside Software modules.
PopUp opens and there you find the BT Dongle checkbox.

Good luck!

simply inserting the bluetooth dongle and reloading the router should be sufficient.
