Is there a walk through or wiki with information on this? When I searched previously i only found responses that it was not possible to change the recording path. Ex: http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=7515.0

totallymaxed and simon_b are probably in VDR country. And you are probably in MythTV country. VDR does not care about where you store the recordings.

Yep... thats right. I was speaking about general media storage (ripped CD's & DVD's) and vdr.
