noob question, autodetect tv tuner+lan post installation?

hallo, im new to mce and have spent some time reading this forum over the last couple of days. but unable to find information to help me understand some current issues.

i managed to source a tv-card. first question is, is mce very specific on what cards it supports? e.g. i have a PlusTV All-in-one VS-DVBT-P1610, that anygood? I guess I will find out soon enough, hehe.

After reading about the 2nd lan card setup. I have added another Nic. Now my main question is, will mce detect the card and also the tv-card. or am i better off reinstall the whole OS to save myself messing about?

and lastly, as I have 2 nic's, what might be the easiest way to work out which will be eth0.

Re-install is your best bet, with regards to your 2nd NIC.

It can be done manually, but it is cumbersome, so I suggest a reinstall.

For devices where device template exists, it makes sense to just re-run the Setup Wizard using an onscreen orbiter.
