Hauppauge WinTV HVR-3000

Hi,

Has anyone got a HVR 3000 working with LinuxMCE?  I'm mostly interested in the DVB-S function but also need analogue to work.

I've looked at http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-3000 which says things are broken in 2.6.20 kernel.  I'm not sure if I can downgrade kernel & still have LinuxMCE work?

Any pointers appreciated.

This devices seams to come alive in kernel 2.6.28, I am still trying to get it to work. but at lease the card shows up now..
