Leadtek PVR2000 problem
« on: March 06, 2006, 10:38:10 am »
I have posted here after experiencing a problem with watching live tv using mythtv as posted in this thread http://plutohome.com/support/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=660

Following further testing, I had missed the following error when using dmesg:

Code: [Select]

For simplicity I have given the error line below:

cx88[0]/2-bb: Firmware and/or mailbox pointer not initialized or corrupted

This would now seem to suggest that there is a problem with cx88 drivers, although I have not managed to find any evidence of others on the internet who have experienced the same problem.

Any thoughts/comments welcome ?

Are there any pluto staff around who could let me know if they are going to look into this problem or can give me some help to investigate the cause of the problem further.

How do I turn on extra debugging for the cx88 drivers etc ?

Thanks
