So you have your remote, but sometimes when looking at youtube or bringing up kde you need more than cursor movement and mouse clicks.  You need to type in search names etc.

So what are people currently using in the USA, wireless/infra-red keyboard with mouse/trackball that works well with linuxmce.

Thanks...Martin

I use a couple of different methods for keyboard:

1.  I have an RF keyboard, it pluged into the PS2 keyboard port.  it works OK but is a little big.
2.  I use a laptop with the Windows Orbiter on it, as Thom said, you can use the orbiter keyboard - but I don't think you can use this in the KDE desktop environment. (correct me if I am wrong Thom)

For mouse I use:

1.  The laptop orbiter (there is a mouse contol pad)
2.   I use an RF handheld trackball mouse, I need to map some of the extra keys.  it is one that you can use for presentations so it has pg up and pg down which can be used in UI2 to turn over the media pages.

I use the Logitech MX keyboard/mouse set.

Works great, but honestly I've found that I almost never use it.  If I wanna browse the web, I either use my laptop or walk the 15 feet to my office computer.
