Caller ID problem

I am using voicepulse voip and everything is fine  with the exception of out going caller id

I used teliax for template .
I thought iax trunk was causing the caller id problem.
I created a sip trunk and i still have the same problem.
If i remove the caller id contents <200> etc at the extension caller id goes through fine.
Unfortunately the extension caller id gets repopulated upon reboot.

 adding fromuser=xxx-xxx-xxxx to trunk peer details was the fix for my callerid problem.
