Not ranked in order of importance

1. Ability to correctly play .mkv files
2. New text to speech with voices that don't sound like a robot
3. Updated version of MythTV
4. Hardware compatability (video cards, NIC's, soundcards etc)
5. MAME games
6. Simplephone upgrade and Phoenix mic support
7. Bug fix for "Play All" feature under audio
8. Upgraded KDE desktop (and other Kubuntu apps such as firefox etc)
9. Upgraded climate plugin's and zwave drivers
10. Lots of little fixes or upgrades that will make for an overall better experience.

Thats my list, feel free to add on because I know I missed some stuff.

Curious, Krys, what is the bug you have with Play All?

krys

When I go to Audio > 'artists_name'> 'album_name' > Play All  It loads up the que just fine with all the tracks on the album, but each track skips forward when it first starts to play. Sometimes the tracks start a few seconds into the song, sometimes they start a few minutes into the song. Whats strange is that the whole list starts the same spot in the song. If the first song skips ahead to 1:10 then all the rest of the songs start at 1:10.
If I start over and use play all on the exact same album the songs skip ahead to a different part of the song. Also I can rewind when the song starts and listen to the part it skips.

agree with all of 'em.  Modern hardware == yeah!

plus...
11. Asus EEE box support (out of the box!  $300 MD's!!!)
12. Current Linux Distro (apt-get upgrade!!)

Can't wait!

weird, never seen that, and I use play all all the time! the only thing I have an issue with on play all is if you are adding them to an existing playing list, it also jumps to the end of that bunch of added files, rather than either enqueuing them (not jumping at all) or at worst, jumping to the first of the bunch you just added.

Yeah be nice to not have to trick the NIC driver into working the way we do now. MSI Wind PC support would be great and an updated driver for the Intel video chip also.

I see this same thing, but only when playing on multiple MDs simultaneously.  Playback on one MD only seems to work just fine.

14 - Better management/grouping of TV shows from outside Myth (is this going to be in 810?)

forgive me if this is obvious or answered elsewhere - is there a list of all the changes/fixes/additional features in 810 somewhere?

pigdog

Hi Djonline,

Hang in there - 3.0.

Cheers.
