What graphics card does your system have installed?

The media directors files can be found under /usr/pluto/diskless/##, where ## is the device number of the MD.

As Zaerc suggests you can check the xorg.conf to see what driver X is using by looking here;

/usr/pluto/diskless/ZZ/etc/X11/xorg.conf

Where 'ZZ' in the line above should be replaced by the number of your MD. To see the MD's (or 'moons' as MD's are known) on your core do;

ls /usr/pluto/diskless <return>

On my Core I get the following output from the line above;

Code: [Select]
linuxmce@dcerouter:/usr/pluto/diskless$ ls
33  42  69  88

Hope the above helps.

OH ok thats was alot of help thank you guys i got it working after a few issues  but i got the u1 running on it now . the issue i was having before was that when i would switch to another terminal and make changes to the xorg from the same client  it would save but on reboot the xorg would get rewritten again so  i happened to stumble upon another forum post where someone suggested to  edit some lines in the Xconfigure.sh so that it doesnt overwrite the xorg file thanks again guys
keep up the great work
