Hello

Sorry about my English, I'm a Portuguese integrator!  ;D

I'm trying to use the LinuxMCE with EIB/KNX light control. I have a EIB/KNX - USB gateway, but I have some difficult to config the interface, I already
1.   define the devices.
2.   define the Lights
3.   Import and Update the group Adresses
4.   When I try to do On/Off in any device os group adress, the EIB BUS do not receive any message!

I have doubts about config the interface, is necessary install some additional software?

Can someone give me a help, to put working, step by step, the information available on wiki is not very complete!

Thanks

JS

Right now I'm using a RS232 (serial) with V1.2, device of Siemens 5WG11481AB02.

I check if the group address and the import of the group address are correct, and they are.
I Already Add the lights, and when I force to On or OFF, nothing happens!

What I can do to test  step-by-step, and put these working!
??? ??? ???

mickg,
I'm not too sure how well that driver is implemented.  From what I can gather, it hasn't been looked at since the pluto days.

If you can get me specs on the protocol, I can see what I can come up with.

Regards,

Dan
The only intuitive interface is the nipple.  After that it's all learned.
My other computer is your windows box.
I'm out of my mind.  Back in 5 minutes.
Q:  What's Red and smells like blue paint?

A:  Red Paint.
