Bluetooth Dongle
« on: May 07, 2008, 06:59:46 pm »
Hi all,

My Bluetooth Dongle keeps adding devices, and alerting me after each one is done.   Is this normal, and if it is, is there a way to disable that feature without disabling my access to the dongle?

Thanks

Hi,

Go to Web Admin and select -> Advanced -> Configuration -> Devices

Now in the left hand frame click on DCEROUTER and select 'Orbiter_Plug-in' from the list of DCErouter plugins. now scroll down to the bottom of the righ-hand frame and click on the tick-box called 'Ignore' in the 'DeviceData' Panel and click the 'Save' button at the bottom of that panel.

This will stop the Bluetooth plugin from generating new alerts each time a new Bluetooth device is detected.

Hope this helps
