Switching from UI1 / UI2 / UI3 - without AVwizard - HOWTO?
« on: April 27, 2008, 11:37:25 pm »
Hi forum,

One way or the other it is tremendously difficult to have the AVwizard on screen on my system.
Until now I have really not been able to pinpoint a constant behaviour to make the AVwizard appear.

Apart from that my hybrid / core works very good.

What is the way, where can I change the setting from UI3 back to UI2 or UI1 in the config files?
I want to avoid using the AVwizard on this machine at all cost.

Thanks for your input!

Erwin

In the beginning it was possible to switch UI in the Webadmin. Why was that removed?
The option is still there, but greyed out. Not possible to switch...

because the fusing of pluto and kde made this option very unstable. A lot of the internal scripts need to be refactored for this to work.

Is UI3 is already available? Did I miss something?

no, people are incorrectly referring to UI2 Blended as UI3.
