I just finished building and installing my core server system for my home Linuxmce system.  It is probably a lame question, but is there any guide on this site that explains how to put your video and audio files from another pc on to the core server, and also how to rip my dvd collection onto the server.  Thanks

Just copy music to the /home/public/data/audio and video to the /home/public/data/videos. To rip DVD just insert it to the DVD drive and choose from the menu "Rip to HDD" or similar. And have a look wiki. You may find many interesting things there :)

Good luck.

Keep in mind too, that we expose windows compatible file shares.

Connect to your core at \\dcerouter

Your username and password are the same as when you log into the web admin.
