1) what format do you enter the mac addresses in in the device templates? It looks like an integer, not the usual hex type MAC address.
Right, you need to use our "convertmac" tool and add a record in DHCPDevice. For e.g., if you mac is aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff, you will need to
add a record with for Mac_Range_Low=convertmac(aa:bb:cc:00:00:00) and Mac_Range_High=convertmac(aa:bb:cc:FF:FF:FF).
2) If I add lines to the templates (MAC range for panasonic symbian phones, for example) does this get sent back to you at Pluto for inclusion, or is there somewhere I can submit the information for you to include manually?
Please give us you phone's mac and we'll add in pluto's database a record in DHCPDevice and your phone will be seen as a symbian one after you'll upgrade to our next release.
Thanks,
Chris M.
