I was just looking around the internet at a bunch of the Media Centers and found this product called the MVIX which is having a promo till the end of the month which includes a free 250gb hard drive for under $330.00 http://mvixusa.com/mvixpromo.php
can someone tell me if linuxmce could use this as a client in the bedrooms of a house?  The price is right!

The form fact of the 760-hd is awesome and small.  hmm!!

Hi,
No, the mvix is a stand alone media player. You copy the media like divx or mp3 to the device then hook it up to your tv and hi-fi system. When you hook it up to your core, it will pick up the media that is on there, and you will be able to play the media.
MOBO: Asus A8V Deluxe
CPU   :AMD 64 Athalon 3500
RAM   : 1.5 GB Ram

This setup works like a charm! Maybe just a little more ram ;-)
