2 Network cards needed for core ?

Theres no reason you have to make the Core a gateway at all. You can make it a gateway and router if you want...but it isn't necessary. It doesnt even have to give out DHCP unless you have devices that need IPs and will be controlled through LinuxMCE....IP cameras....diskless media directors....audio players....I use one network card and it all works fine. Not to be too confusing...but really....you could use two DHCP servers if you use reservations by MAC address. If one allows only certain MACs (Computers you have) and the other takes on things without and is denied DHCP for those other MACs (Computers you have), then it would work fine....although....again..more confusing and more work.

But it is by default based on the default dhcpd.conf file that it uses.

As a feature request: can there be an extra line or two on the network setup section of the admin website where the use specifies where the dhcpd is on or off that allows for configuration of the default gateway and dns, so the users don't have to drop to a terminal to correct this?  And, during the initial setup, ask the installer if the core will be between the users and internet or just on the network, and have the wizard configure it accordingly.
