They are not comparable because Nokia770 is too small but DT 375 - big. So, you should decide first what do you need: small remote control or big touchscreen panel. I played with Nokia770, N800 and TabletKiosk Saraha. So, I can recommend Sahara as a big and mobile Orbiter (it's abour $1700) and N800 as small mobile Orbiter (~$400). Nokia770 is just $120 but it has a problems with WiFi connection and a bit slower than N800.

N770, just picked one up off of Woot a few days ago for $100 flat. Upgraded it with OS2007HE and haven't had any wireless connection problems.

I'd say that if you need a budget touchscreen, the nokia may be the way to go. I saw an article recently where they wiped out all of the basic system software and put vanilla KDE on it, which would be interesting...I wonder if that would help speed it up?

Anyways, the N800 is reportedly faster that the 770, due to increased memory and can be had fairly cheaply as well.

Once you are close to spending $800 the Samsung Q1 is by far the best solution. Don't spend more. And unlike the Nokia its not a learning project to load the orbiter (it runs windows XP).

However the Nokia's are selling for less than the cost of the screen and can be made to work.

I would love an install package or compiled binary to install Pluto Orbiter on it.

The Nokia Orbiter is already built. All dependencies except mysql are added to the Maemo extra repository. So, you need just install them, plus libmysqlclient and the Orbiter package. All packages are in the Maemo garage - https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=162

Regarding Q1. As I know (I can be wrong) it supports stylus only. No finger input.

The Q1 works great with a finger. Unless you are typing when you need a stylus. Its the older windoze tablets that required a stylus.

Thanks, I'll check out the install procedure and see if any of my non techie friends could get through it. (Good docs make a world of difference.)
