You can watch the
bug status list in Mantis. Which shows lots of updates in the past few days, including lots of major+ bugs probably satisfied for v0710. But also some new ones reported recently.
Of 11 "major" bugs, 8 are not "resolved", but 2 of those seem to be bugs with specific HW models, so maybe 6 are show-stoppers. 1 of the 2 "crash" bugs is resolved, while the other is HW model-specific, and there are no "block" bugs. Which could mean that there are only 6 bugs left before release, if "minor" or lesser bugs don't count. Of which at least 2 look like fairly trivial file metadata fixes, and at least 2 look like 2 manifestations of the same bug.
That
could mean that there are really only as few as about 4 bugs left before release. But since 5 new bugs (2 major / 3 minor, included in that analysis) have been reported just today, there could be more. Though the new reports are getting attention faster than the existing ones.
It's a massively complex differential equation, with multiple independent variables, probably some stochastism. Like a letter to Santa.
I just hope there's a ChangeLog included in the actual release.
