I basically had no other way to explain my question so I shot a video.

I have never used security feature under Lmce , so please advise/comment how to have lmce communicate with such a security system. The house is prewired with sensors and they all terminate on the board shown in Video. Rest the video will explain, Please take a look.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't watch the video, but basically you have to create a device template that receives the events from your security system. Take a look at device template 2001

OK, however my main question remains, how/where/what to connect so that Lmce atleast see it !!

Marie.O

That depends on the panel. LinuxMCE doesn't care how you connect it, whether you use an RS-232 connection or network connection. If neither are available on your system, it can't be easily integrated.
