I'm looking for a known working USB web cam for surveillance. I tried to set up a Logitech quick cam that I had but I am not able to get any visual. Is anyone using a USB cam? If so what brand and model?
Thanks,

Dustin

Hey, Justd curious if something like this would work by default? Is there some kind if standard used for IP Cameras that LMCE supports?

I would think those rosewills will work. I have 3 of these from rosewill and have them working. I thought it was pretty painless to setup.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881147003

Hi,

I had two logitech Quickcams connected (3000 and 4000), but driver was always complaining and they simply don't work for me... Not sure what is the problem...

I got a Logitech 4000 half-working. I got a feed. Could see the images on Orbiter etc. It would record as soon as it would detect movement however that was as far as the movement detection went. I couldn't make the system do anything with it. It wasn't listed as a security sensor (even though auto-recording worked), only as a camera.

This was on 810. I haven't tried it on 1004.
