After doing the update i still get:
"cannot connect to 192.168.80.1:49153" when going in webadmin to advanced->configuration->UPnP-server.
Also i can't seem to find a UPnP-server on my home network.
Am i overlooking something?

Raymond

You might have to start the mediatomb service either from the console or by rebooting.

hi Sambuca, thx for the quick reply,
as you suggested i opened a terminal, ssh into core, become root and at cmdprmt typed 'mediatomb'
then i get an overview of how its bound and it seemed that its bound to my external! network,
so i opened up a browser gave in my external ip followed by ':49153' and it worked!!

but now,... how do i get mediatomb on my internal network?
i must confess, in order to get my network up and running i had to swap network interfaces from the core in webadmin.

Should i reopen the ticket so this gets fixed?

Can you try to reinstall the lmce-mediatomb package (apt-get install --reinstall lmce-mediatomb). This package is responsible for configuring mediatomb to use the internal interface. If you swapped interfaces after initial installation, chances are that this config is not updated.
