Hey all, I do apologize if this has already been addressed, but I couldn't find reference to it.

To start, my problem is with webpage sounds, their are none. What I mean is I hear no sound form webpages. Examples include flash games, other flash movie sites like HULU. I checked my alsamixer settings as a super user as well as root. All the settings are un-muted and all the way up.

Thanks in advance

Which install?
Did you do an update?

Thanks for the replies.
Using ubuntu 8.10
flash version = 10.1.102.65
I get sound in HULU player that uses flash. Is their a separate setting for web?
I went through the settings for adobe and I don't know what I changed but it's working now.
Thanks

OK I forgot to mention this is when I'm in the kde desktop. When I chose kde desktop in advanced and go to the desktop and open a web browser(firefox) their is no sound. When I chose computing then a web page in the orbiter, I get sound in those web pages.
