All,
I am very new to this and I have a few rookie questions:

(1) Can I watch two different tv shows in two different rooms at the same time with one cable box or would I need a box in every room?

(2) Can I record two shows with the PVR at the same time or would I need two cards? If I do need two cards is this possible

Thanks for your help on this

Although the functionality on my system is broken at this time....You should be able to connect your cable box to the system and use you tuner to view TV on any system in the house.  Two cards would be needed to view two shows at the same time (You would also require two cable boxes).

I don't know you cable box, but most of the cable boxes I've worked on in Germany are only able to provide one stream. Which would mean, you need as many cable boxes as you have needs for parallel programs.
