Yes I didn't have the manual. It's been sent to me now. I realise it's easy to find online, please forgive my haste in posting.

Does this remote ONLY work with SIS devices?

I have a Duwi dimmer switch which just isn't picked up at all by the remote. I think it MAY have worked once according to the remote's LED (out of the 20 odd times I tried it), but the dimmer has not appeared in web admin despite much reloading and waiting. Any suggestions please? I thought this new controller and remote was meant to make life easier!!!

Cheers,
Matt.

there is no such thing as SIS devices. All recent portable controllers can be inclusion controllers together with a SIS (Node id Server).

The Duewi dimmer works without issues in both variants (network with and without SIS). I've tested the same combination and are using the Duewi dimmer right now in my living room.

as you seem to have some issues with Z-Wave, maybe we should meet on IRC and I'll assist you with the network setup..
