Hey guys, nice to see linuxmce is still going.  I was wondering if i could get an N800 orbiter similar to the one you guys run under normal mythtv?  Can someone give me a few hints as to how the n800 orbiter actually works here with myth/kubuntu/linuxmce etc.

Thanks;

Andy

Quick answer: You can't.

The Orbiter sends commands to the LinuxMCE dcerouter, which sends commands to the mythtv plugin which in turn sends commands to the mythtv player, which sends commands to the mythtv frontend.

Andy,

Isn't there a web interface/remote control for myth? MythWeb? Or am I making that up? Surely you could use that in the web browser of your choice on the N800 (if it exists lol).

Cheers,
Matt.

EDIT: I wasn't dreaming; point your browser at "http://<YourInternalIP>/mythweb/remote/keys" and see if that's any good for you.
