Media Director trouble
« on: December 04, 2010, 12:38:22 am »
I am getting an error on starting LMCE that refers to the #19 text to speech not loading.  after it sits at 93% it comes up with a black screen that tells me some Media Director did not start properly.  I can select ok and get to the UI, but it states that functionality may be lost.  Has anyone had this issue before or have any suggestions?  Starting over seems like a lot of work and i am at the end of my vacation.  (this was a main project that i didnt' think would take this long)  I did get my Zwave lights connected so that is a plus.  It seems to hang at this spot everytime i exit a wizard or restart anything.

Look in web admin (type "192.168.80.1" into a browser) under "Media Directors". To the right of the MD in question there are some buttons, one of which is delete. Always a good idea to reboot the core after this operation, before reinstalling the MD.

Cheers,
Matt.

EDIT: Regarding your first post, try to give a bit more information, hardware, specs, etc.
