Now we should try to work out how to join the old group with the new one you have created.  The old one has 194 members and was started by Niteman

A groups site is different than a fan page. Don't think we can combine them, although I've posted our new fan page to the old group.

For what it's worth, if you want to go through the trouble, the members of a group CAN be migrated to a fan page, but you will need to contact Facebook support with the details.

For sure we can merge two groups in to one Just tell me what I should do to perform that.

pixelator , how can we complete this task? I've searched the facebook help sites, but I do not see any way of combining a group with a fan page.

As I understand the groups and fan pages are two different entities in the Facebook and they cannot be linked or joined each other. BTW there is a LinuxMCE group om the LinkedIn - http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2088451&trk=hb_side_g
