Strange ZWave USB Conflict
« on: May 14, 2010, 04:42:58 am »
I have three USB devices on my CORE:

1) Aeon Labs Z Stick
2) UIRT IR controller
3) USB->Serial (RS232) cable

If either 2) or 3) are plugged in then about 80% of my Zwave lighting commands fail (I can watch in 30_ZWave.log as three attempts per light are made to send the command)

If both 2) and 3) are unplugged, then 0% of my ZWave lighting commands fail, consistently.

I have only 1 ZWave light that I am trying to control and it is right next to the CORE, so routing and range issues are out of the question. I've had no problems with the UIRT or serial control. I have excluded and reincluded my ZWave lightnetwork several times with the same symptom.

I reinstalled linuxmce and get the same symptoms.

Please help, this is driving me nuts!
