Users / Intercom and making outside calls not working
« on: February 06, 2011, 03:25:44 am »
Currently I have a Linksys PAP2 with a POT's standard phone connected to it with a VOIP account and it is connected to Linuxmce and I can only make outside calls from the phone connected to the PAP2, the SIP account is registered in webadmin but I cant make calls from MD's or even do intercom calls between MD's. I have checked the trunks and dialing rules and all seem to be correct ........anybody have some ideas of things I should start checking as I want to install a SOLO usb MIC to be able to use it. I don't have a direct in dial number a of yet as owe use the standard POT's for incoming calls

Added to this if I try to make intercom or outside calls I get a msg on the orbiter Failed to make call: ERROR Couldn't make call from Device 68 to xxxxxxxxxxxl

Hi
If anybody has some spare time to assist me with making and understanding device templates I would be much appreciated Tschakeee2 has been really helpful on the IRC but I feel it's taking up too much valuable time, so if anybody has a couple spare hours up there sleeve and would like to help me I would be very grateful, I have some knowledge when it comes to command line and I just need to understand the concept of devices and how the structure is put together. I am great at visio so I could put together an overall diagram of the internals of Linuxmce if someone can assist with corrections along the way

Best Regards

Installation issues / Re: 8.10 Installation - Never successful
« on: February 01, 2011, 04:37:08 pm »
Good to see you are finally geting somewhere........things to check

Have you got a internet connection to your PC
Edited the sources.list check the forums
Open a terminal window then do a apt-get update then apt-get upgrade followed by a apt-get dist-upgrade

I do all that before clicking on the Linuxmce icon on the desktop which should be there, if it's not then I am not sure why

Cheers
