I don't believe the next round of updates have been built yet.

can anybody confirm this because i see this in the alpha 2.32 release:

pluto-orbiter (119,138) - Fixes to GenericHIDInterface for Gyration 3101 remotes.

is that anything to do with it?

tschak: if this is really a regression, it has to be fixed asap. We can't trash existing stuff with new patches. And just as a note, that hid stuff should not really be handled in orbiter.

br, Hari

Hari,to answer your question,  it is definitely a regression, Everything was working great until i updated to the later alpha. thanks

hi guys,

I'm looking at changing over to broadvoice from vonage due to the vonage restrictions regarding asterisk.  My aim is to enable my setup to alert me of security alerts and make use of the telecom features in linuxmce.  1)  i've read conflicting reports regarding viewing live video feed on a mobile phone. Some posts note that only pictures taken a the time a sensor was tripped is relayed to your cellphone(windows mobile or javamo). Others mention video, which one is possible??  2) I was looking at getting the sipura 3000, but it seems to only have one ethernet port.  Is it necessary to have two ethernet ports in order to connect it to the internal or external network ethernet card on the core, or can i just connect it to a switch? Is the setup for voip as simple as just using the wizard?   Thanks guys, sorry im bringing up old questions, but some things are no clear after reading many conflicting posts.

Installation issues / I/O failure
« on: September 20, 2008, 06:55:36 pm »
Hi guys,
I bought a abit board listed as working in the hardware list.  I tried using a usb gigabit adapter that I previously had working out of the box with linuxmce on another mainboard.  When doing the DVD install I got the error message "i/o failure" in several attempts to do a fresh install. I decided to try a linksys gigabit adapter and got the same error message.  Everything installs ok once i don;t have another NIC in.  Any suggestions? Bios maybe?
