Users / Can't resolve dcerouter via wifi
« on: September 26, 2015, 02:19:37 pm »
This is the strangest thing.....from my pc or the md I can resolve dcerouter just fine and access the webadmin. From my wife, which is attached to the inside network, I suddenly can't anymore. Access is only possible via IP address.
Any ideas, how I can fix this?

Users / Mediatomb and logitech mediaserver
« on: September 23, 2015, 08:03:36 pm »
I think I need some help in understanding and perhaps configuring.
I remember, that once utilized mediatomb for streaming to no-one devices, like windows media player and such.
I so far, using 12.04,  i have eben unsuccessful in using mediating, since I cannot even find it in my network anymore. However I recently got an rpi2 and use it as a squeezeslave for internet radio.
So I was wondering if the logitech media server and mediatomb were exclusive to each other. If so, how can I configure the logitech software to also stream video?

Installation issues / Last update set drives offline
« on: August 13, 2015, 08:40:22 pm »
Curious...after running the latest update, my mediadrives were set offline in webadmin.I could still access them in the mediafile browser and from the console....after setting them online and sideload router, everything was back....wonder if it will survive a reboot though.

Users / cannot tag media anymore(solved)
« on: March 31, 2015, 09:08:57 pm »
I just noticed today, that I cannot tag my mediafiles anymore. Strange thing is, clicking on a directory I can choose the get metadata as usual from Amazon, TMDB or TVDB.
However clicking on a file now, nothing like that is present.
So as the old windows-joke goes: is it a bug, or a feature?

Users / rpi2
« on: March 21, 2015, 07:23:50 pm »
So i got me a rpi2 now to play around with it a little. Actually I wanted just to build a internet radio with this. On the other hand, I saw that there is some development for making it an md. For the previous rpi the wiki said, that mythtv-frontend is not possible, which  makes me wonder, if this would still apply to to the rpi2 with his 1g2g ram and quad-core.  In case there is a way to test this out, I'm volunteering.

Users / question about internet radio
« on: February 23, 2015, 11:40:24 am »
When checking internet radio in the webadmin, I see a list of radio station that have been found externally. There is a button below to add them, I presume, but in the orbiter none show up..am I missing something?

Installation issues / asterisk, Ticket 2263
« on: February 19, 2015, 12:07:16 pm »
I'm not sure if this is the right way to ask a ticket-related question, but I'll try.

Since Asterisk doesn't seem to work properly on my installation, would it be possible to reinstall the package, and if so, how would I have to go about?

Users / id3-tags
« on: January 24, 2015, 09:21:15 pm »
Just this last two days I've been tagging videos- mostly tvshows- and now I was adding some files...checking in the folders, I did not see a single id3 file, even though everything was properly tagged. So I was wondering, if this is standard now, or another bug? I know that when moving those files via webadmin, that id3 files will be created.

Users / cd-ripping
« on: January 18, 2015, 02:31:23 pm »
I'm running 12.04 and try to rip some music cd to the core. So usually I'd go to manage drives and click rip on the appropriate drive. Then I can type a name, choose location, create directory...Then it immediately says ripping complete and nothing actually happens. However playing the disk, click on copy disc, I can at least type a name and choose a drive.
is this just me, or is it like that by design/ development?

Users / double entries
« on: January 06, 2015, 10:53:34 pm »
I have a little problem with my tagged movies...they are multiplying...at least that's what the orbiters seem to think. Could this have been an update issue?
