I'm just not sure if the Board will work with Linux MCE, its got NVIDIA Chipset. I ve been researching a lot and it seems like theres a lot of Nvidia support for Linuxmce, I just don't know about this one. Possibly i could add a card that supports it, but hopefully it won't come to that. I have a samsung 46 1080p and my GOAL is to run LinuxMCE on it and have great blueray 1080p playback.  I just wish they made a videocard with HDMI output with audio through HDMI. ANY COMMENTS, SUGGESTIONS, OR ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.  Thanks -Matt

Installation issues / 0710 DVD and 0704 cds Both Failed, Need help

First off, I wanted to try Linux MCE out on my Sony VAIO PCV-RX550 Desktop (1.5-GHz Pentium 4, 256 MB RAM, 60 GB hard drive).   Will it even be possible because its so old and slow, also will it be able to handle UII atleast?

Also i was thinking about buying a 500GB drive and just Dual Booting it and running it on the 500GB drive and leaving Windows XP on the 60GB drive. Then whenever I get or build a new pc i can just more it into my new rig.

Oh and a stupid question, The dvd wouldn't boot from bios, Was I supposed to exstract the iso file then burn the exstracted files on the dvd??

Any comments or suggestion?
