What a stup... errmmm... odd way to name your files, had you gone with: "American Dad 0101.avi" etc. this would not have been an issue at all.

Huh? Why would this be problematic? Contains season, episode and series. Am I missing something here?

Obviously, even apart from the fact that you're replying to a post well over a year old...

stay classy ;)
Keep making these utterly useless remarks  :P

LinuxMCE-Wiki does say that this card works out of the box since 0810 alpha.
...
According to the log-snippets you posted this is indeed correct.  Not being able to get a decent signal is an entirely different issue.

You could try putting two candles on your TV about 20 cm (8") apart until you have a proper sensor-bar.

Zaerc or I can just read the wiki properly.........  ;D

Purps u should try this it worked for me. This is from the Wiki at the bottom......
Code: [Select]
An additional change that I need to make was in /usr/sbin/wminputd. Had the change the line wminput -c ir_ptr
$WIIMOTE_BDADDR & to wminput $WIIMOTE_BDADDR &. Otherwise I could not move the cursor, but the buttons works.

Hope it helps. It sure did for me. I dont need to get an exspensive remote now.  8)  Or two candles ontop of my TV....  ::)

Thanks for reminding me again not to bother with "people" like you.  ::)

Hi Guys,

I'm not a developer, but I just want to share my experience.

Purps, I setup a Wiimote last night using a bluetooth dongle. I followed this wiki
http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Nintendo_WiiMote

It works, but if I lift or drop the wiimote the cursor doesnt move, but all the buttons work. I think it might be because I dont have the sensorbar and I'm using a usb bluetooth dongle instead.

Karel.

Devs- this is not a beat up the devs thread please note that I am ONLY trying to bring any options to the surface to make this possible.
...

How about the "option" where you get off your lazy whiny arse and actually look for ways to contribute towards realizing your goal?

 Hey Zaerc,

You are just not worth it, Go fuck yourself...you loudmouth little shit. Ban me I do not give a fuck. I have been back less than one week and your BS surfaces. I will reload my mythbackend this weekend and setup and program my ADA system and continue on my merry way. I have spent five days in a row trying to make this sytem work till three in the morning everyday with every google solution I can think off, and if I had found one it would be posted here. So call me lazy... Fuck you.... I am out....

LMAO, don't let the door hit you on the way out!  ;D

Installation issues / Re: Help with install

Make sure your default shell (/bin/sh) is bash and not dash.  Either that or somebody made a boo boo.

I don't know what you all were doing, I had a similar problem.
I realized it was caused by, not using the right version. I had to be running 7.10 and use the 7.10 live cd. not version.x and a different version.y live cd.
I hope this sheds some light.  8)
I'm glad we finally got that mystery solved... 3 years later ;)

I didn't create the script it is from here http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Setting_Up_PLM_Template I've been using this from day one.

When you're done arguing, please read my previous messages again, carefully.

Zaerc,

This line from the PnP script (88_InseteonPLM.sh) for the Insteon, it was not running automatically by LinuxMCE so I run the script from the shell prompt and got that error, then I typed the command by itself to verify it !!!

Code: [Select]
#!/bin/bash

echo "Insteon Powerline Modem Detection Script queue $2"
/usr/pluto/bin/TestSerialPort -p $3 -P N81 -b 19200 -t "\02\60"  -i 1 -s "\03\05"
if [[ "$?" -ne 0 ]]; then
echo "It's not an Insteon Powerline Modem"
/usr/pluto/bin/MessageSend dcerouter -r 0 $1 1 806 224 $2 13 "$4" 44 0
else
echo "It is an Insteon Powerline Modem"
/usr/pluto/bin/MessageSend dcerouter -r 0 $1 1 806 224 $2 13 "$4" 44 1932
fi

I'm somehow wondering what you expect from me here, as I doubt it's: chewing your ass for cluelessly running unknown scripts (not to mention without the proper parameters).
