hi,

the installation steps posde posted is the same what i've done.
I'm very impressed, it works really well. But the only thing what would be very great ist the EPG for Live TV in the orbiter. You can't see on the "remote" what's playing now...

We may want to move this to linuxmce.org later, but this should work for now. I haven't finished setting up trac, but it has some spam prevention enabled, as does the mailing list (first post is moderated.) There are directions for the getting the svn trunk using a tbz download followed by an svn update. Other checkouts are left as an exercise to the reader, the tbz is less than400MB so it saves a lot of time on the checkout of the 1.4GB trunk branch.

There is no build script we can use yet. I've been working on this locally for a few days, but it will take a few more before I get something basic going.

hi,

does anybody use the "Text to Speech" feature? I want to make an announce every day at 21 o'clock. But only 21 days and after that make 7 days nothing and then it should start from the beginning and so on. The reason is: my girlfriend always forget to take her pill  So i thougt it would be a great feature if LinuxMCE tells her to take it. But another problem is: we watch TV and at 21 o'clock myth shut's down and xine do the annouce. How can i make the announce without stopping mythtv?

i've done a little wiki-page. there is a link to the bus-connector, this is the most important product.
For the other equipments i also used Berker stuff, but it should work with all other companys too.

sure, we need people like Zearc (you did a grea job and you helped me with a lot of post's i read from you)

BUT we also need people like Trout! I contributed yesterday something about EIB on the wiki and he corrected all my mistakes (my english is sooooo bad). We need people like him, they do the stuff that new users find a good wiki.

So the only thing i can say is:

Hi,

does anybody know how i can Add Ruby Codes to the EIB-Interface (Device Template 49)?
I want to add some logging feature because all the thermostats and switches are sending infos to the BUS and i want to save them in a database. So i can see in the future how the temperature was in the summer, winter, the last days or over the whole year... I also want to save when a light switch was pressed (to update the state in lmce). This data can be used to simulate people in the house when you are in holiday...

no, i don't know anyone. EIB is pretty cool, because it is a organisation and you have a lot of companies that produce components, like siemens, gira, berker and so on. So you can choose from a lot of products an nearly all work together...
