I have gotten wubi to work fairly nicely, but I always have to move the installed directory to d:\ for some reason.

Also, wubi is strictly for fesity fawn and not edgy so no LMCE until someone ports it over. :(

Thats the version I did use. I had to move the files to my d:\ partition for some odd reason. Now the linux-based part of the install fails instead.

I like Live DVDs/CDs. I think that would be a great idea. A few things makes it hard for me to install linuxmce right now: I dont have any spare CD-Rs (yes, I'm lame not buying...) only DVD-Rs but the free machines I have are only CD-ROM equipped. I do have a Vaio laptop with Geforce Go graphics-card, but this has a HDD that is all full.

A live-DVD would have atleast allowed me to toy around with the system a bit. :)

I am having the exact same problem! Also on NTFS but who isn't these days? It should state it doesn't work with NTFS

So the old torrent (with a filename of linuxMCE.iso, size 681.48 MiB) should be deleted?

This new has linuxmce-1.0-packages.iso, 675.76MiB. What exactly is the difference? Any posts that explains it?
